My Story

I have always had a huge passion for serving others. Whether it’s been a small monetary donation, all the way to planning community outreach events. Finding my love for helping families has come naturally to me because I have always found myself wanting to help and serve everyone in my own family. I just want to be there. Whether a shoulder to lean on, or just an ear to vent to. My heart is to serve. This journey to becoming a doula began in early 2019. I needed to take some time off of work to take care of myself after a series of losses interrupted my life. During this time, I began helping women at Church who recently had babies, and for the first time in a long time, I was getting up for what felt like my new job, with a renewed joy in life. I am excited to serve growing families by providing you with the support and resources needed for you to thrive throughout this life-changing time. I plan to show up and be exactly who you need me to be at that moment. I am here to be that consistent person when everything around you is changing before your eyes. Whatever the capacity, I am ready to be that person for you. Throughout this journey, I have learned how to care for others in a new capacity, and have gained a vast variety of knowledge in Labor & Delivery, and Postpartum & Infant Care that will be of great value to each family I serve. I am constantly finding new connections to grow my network of other birth workers and medical professionals in the field. I am extremely personable and can naturally build a connection with anyone. I am very committed and have the drive and determination to solve problems. Whatever my client needs, I am the girl to get the job done. Being a Doula feels like a calling. Out of one of the hardest transitional periods of my own life, I have been able to help so many families during their special transitional times. I cannot wait to connect with you to learn how I can best serve you and your family’s needs.
